The idea
Bright Logistics moves freight by road and by sea, and its days start early. Long before most people are awake, its drivers are already on the road, watching the sun come up. At Vaughn, I built the identity around that moment: the first light of a working day, and the people who are out there to see it.
The mark
The symbol is a set of radiating lines around a single point of light. The lines emulate the early morning sunrises Bright’s truck drivers see each day, a symbol of their hard work, consistency and drive. One line runs longer than the rest, giving the mark a sense of direction. Beside it, the wordmark sets the name in a light, open sans serif, so the whole logo feels clear and easy to read.
The palette
The colors follow a sunrise: deep blue before dawn, a soft sky blue, then the warm red of first light. As a gradient, they carry the idea of the mark across a surface. On their own, royal blue, red, sky blue and an off-white give the team a small, flexible set that works anywhere the brand needs to appear.
In use
The identity holds together wherever Bright shows up, from a cargo ship crossing open water to a truck on a two-lane road at dawn. The line “Every Morning Deserves a Bright Start” puts the idea into words, with the mark rising over the name.
Recognition
The Bright Logistics mark was selected as a winner in LogoLounge Book 15. It is a simple idea carried all the way through: understand the people a brand serves, find the moment that matters to them, then build the identity around it.
